Can I download the app to any phone?

You can download the Zaap Thai App on any recent device. We support Android and iOS both.

CLUB ZAAP – Win a 10-Day Trip to Thailand Competition

Full Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

  • This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 and over.

  • Employees of Zaap Thai, its affiliates, and immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

  • The competition is limited to individual entries. Group or organisation entries are not permitted.

2. How to Enter

  • To enter the competition, participants must:

    • Download the CLUB ZAAP app.

    • Create an account and opt in to marketing communications.

    • Dine in at any Zaap Thai location and collect nine (9) loyalty stamps through the app by 11:59 pm on 1st June 2026.

  • Each dine-in visit at a Zaap Thai restaurant earns one (1) stamp per table, per transaction.

  • A minimum spend of £20 per visit is required to earn a stamp.

  • Only completed loyalty journeys (nine stamps collected) by the deadline will qualify for automatic entry into the prize draw.

3. The Prize

  • One (1) winner will receive a 10-day trip for two people to Thailand, including:

    • 3 nights in Bangkok

    • 7 nights in either Koh Samui or Phuket (to be selected by the winner)

    • Return economy flights from either Manchester or London Heathrow (subject to availability and agreement with the winner)

    • £1,000 spending money

  • The trip includes flights and accommodation only; meals, travel insurance, transport within Thailand, passports, visas, and any other costs are the responsibility of the winner.

  • The winner and their guest must each hold a valid passport and be eligible to travel to Thailand.

4. Winner Selection and Notification

  • One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

  • The winner will be contacted via the contact details associated with their CLUB ZAAP app account by 30th June 2026.

  • If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of the draw, or is unable to accept the prize, an alternative winner may be selected.

5. Prize Conditions

  • The holiday must be taken within 12 months of the winner being notified.

  • Travel dates are flexible and will be arranged in agreement between Zaap Thai and the winner, subject to availability.

  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative.

  • The prize cannot be resold or used in conjunction with any other offer.

6. General

  • Zaap Thai reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant and may disqualify any entrant found to be in breach of these terms.

  • Zaap Thai reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion and/or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice in the event of circumstances outside its control.

  • By entering, all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  • The winner may be required to participate in publicity related to the competition. By entering, you agree to the use of your name and likeness for promotional purposes if selected as the winner.

  • The competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

The Zaap Thai mobile application is owned and operated by Zaap Thai, who are the controller of all stored data.

PepperHQ Ltd operate as a processor of data for The Zaap Thai App.

This policy, together with our MOBILE APP TERMS OF USE, explain how we may use information we collect about you, as well as your rights over any personal information we hold about you. Please read this policy and our MOBILE TERMS OF USE carefully.

 

Information we collect about you through The Zaap Thai App.

We collect information about you when you:

  • register to use The Zaap Thai App;
  • attempt to check in to our stores;
  • register your debit or credit card details;
  • upload a profile photo

This information is collected, stored and processed under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, “processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract” i.e. We need this data for you to be able to use the App for its primary purposes.

 

Using your information

Collecting personal information in The Zaap Thai App (name, email address, date of birth) helps us to better understand what you need from us.

We use your information to:

  • improve the functionality and performance of The Zaap Thai App;
  • personalise our services to you;
  • tell you about important changes to The Zaap Thai App and related services, and
  • manage promotions, competitions, customer surveys and questionnaires.

Your personal information is safe with us and will never be released to third party companies for marketing purposes.

The Zaap Thai App captures your geographic location when you attempt to “check in” to one of our Restaurants. We do this to identify which Restaurant you are in or near to a to provide an enhanced visitor experience (for example, through digital loyalty cards). We will only capture this information with your consent. The Zaap Thai App also captures basic usage metrics to help us identify any problems and to make improvements in the future. These metrics also help us understand how people use the App and how many people use the different functions within it.

Your contact details and personal information may be used to send direct marketing messages to you via your contact details provided. This is done only with your explicit consent, which can be withdrawn at any time from the MyAccount options within the app. You may refuse consent for marketing messages without detriment to any other areas of functionality within the app.

 

 

Information We Capture

Geographic location

You may prevent The Zaap Thai App from accessing your devices location services, or turn off the location services of your Mobile Device. Doing so will impact the capability of The Zaap Thai App and prevent you from enjoying an enhanced experience.

Data you share with us (Including information you give us when signing up, and information which is shared automatically, such as Device ID, and IP address)

We use this data to log you in to the The Zaap Thai App and it helps us understand our customers better and present you with appropriate offers and promotions. Your data is stored in an encrypted database and transferred over a secure network connection. You decide which data you do and do not share with us. If you ask us to, we will update, correct or delete any data which you give to us.

Your purchase history

We use your purchase history to provide personalized offers and analyse which products and rewards are most likely to interest you.

 

Data storage, protection and your right to access and erasure

Your data is stored in an encrypted database and transferred over secure network connections. We will store your information for as long as your account exists in the The Zaap Thai App. If your user account is entirely inactive for a period of 12 months or more, we will delete your account. If you ask us to, or if you delete your account, we will delete the information linked to your account which can identify you personally, including your profile photo and personal details.

You may ask us, at any time, to provide to you confirmation that your data is being processed and access to your personal data. This will generally be provided within 7-21 working days.

 

Marketing and research

If you agree, we may contact you:

  • with offers and information about The Zaap Thai products or services.
  • for customer research, e.g. to help improve our service.

Disclosing your information

We will never disclose your information to anyone outside of The Zaap Thai except:

  • Where we have your consent
  • Where we are required or permitted to do so by law
